MALARIA: KILLER NUMBER ONE (Ethiopia/Kenya, 2006, 20 min.)

Washington, D.C. Premiere Malaria claims three million lives every year worldwide, most of them in countries south of the Sahara. Among the places hardest hit is Ethiopia, where malaria can wipe out hundreds of thousands of villagers, mainly women and children, in a single epidemic. This film focuses on the plight of vulnerable people trapped in a forgotten human emergency. Directed and produced by IRIN Films.
