Salmon aquaculture in Norway, Chile or Scotland greatly affects the environment. In this short film, Damien Gillis focuses on the environmental and socio-economic damage caused by the development of salmon farms. Sanitary issues of this multi-billion dollar industry, such as the spreading of diseases in the stocks or the decrease of wild salmon population, are highlighted. Written, directed and produced by Damien Gillis.
