EFF Internship Program

The Environmental Film Festival in the Nation’s Capital is the largest and longest-running environmental film festival in the US. Our mission is to advance public understanding of the environment through the power of film. Each semester EFF recruits a team of talented and enthusiastic interns to assist in the production of our annual festival and year-round programs.

Our interns become an integral part of EFF’s small, creative team, and learn the inner workings of a non-profit organization. Interns are closelyВ mentored by our staff, a team of experts in their fields of film programming, communications, media production, and non-profit development and management. We work with each intern individually to construct an experience that develops their interests and builds upon their talents.

EFF interns graduate from the programВ withВ high-level experiences and a portfolio of tangible work products ranging from successful fundraising events, to a slate of films in our festival, to web, video and printed content. The EFF Internship Program is an introduction into the world of environmental film and leadership, and hasВ been a valuable career stepping stone for our graduates.
