The Environmental Film Festival in the Nationв’s Capital is the countrys largest and longest-running environmental film festival. В Our mission is to В advance public understanding of pressing environmental issues through the power of film.
The 2015 Festival presented 173 films from March 17 to 29 at 55 venues across the D.C. metro area. The Festival also hosted a record 125 filmmakers and over 100 expert speakers. Over 80 percent of screenings and events were free and more than 30,000 people attended the Festival.
EFF has a creative, energetic, committed team of eight full-time staff plus a few part-time or seasonal staff that organize our primary Festival each year, as well as our year-round film programs.
