American University’s goal to become carbon neutral by 2020 is an ambitious one. Is it possible to achieve? Part of AU’s commitment to donate my carbon neutrality involves their participation in a carbon offsetting project in Costa Rica in order to mitigate emissions due to study abroad travel and commuting to campus.
