Dude, Where’s My Carbon?

American University’s goal to become carbon neutral by 2020 is an ambitious one. Is it possible to achieve? Part of AU’s commitment to donate my carbon neutrality involves their participation in a carbon offsetting project in Costa Rica in order to mitigate emissions due to study abroad travel and commuting to campus. A group of graduate studentsВ traveledВ to Costa Rica in order to assess and recommend to AU whether or not to continue participating in the project.В Produced by Nick Zachar and Jazmin Garcia.

Discussion follows screenings with student filmmakers, hosted by Chris Palmer, Director, and Sandy Cannon-Brown, Associate Director, Center for Environmental Film making, School of Communication, American University.
