Washington, D.C. Premiere The phenomenon of uncontrolled production and use of plastic bags in Dalmatia, Croatia is the focus of this documentary. The story of the plastic bag is told through its life span, from leaving the manufacturing plant and passing into human hands, until it is cast away into the environment. The plastic bag is chosen as a symbol of people’s careless attitude towards waste. The film is trying to inspire the public to take an active part in solving the waste management issues in Croatia and elsewhere, advocating a change in our approach to it. Directed by Rahela Jurčević.
